WGPR’s groundbreaking history in Detroit as nation’s first Black-owned TV station

Members of the Channel 7 family gathered with Detroit TV icons for a digital Black History Month roundtable. It took place at the historic WGPR-TV building on Jefferson Street, the home of the country’s very first Black-owned and operated TV station. It’s now a museum.
