US President Joe Biden to terminate four African countries from AGOA



US President Joe Biden has informed Congress of his intention to terminate the beneficiary designations of four African countries from the African Growth and Opportunity Act.

Biden will remove the Central African Republic, Niger, the Gabonese Republic and Uganda as “beneficiary sub-saharan countries” to duty-free access to the United States. South Africa is due to host the 20th AGOA Forum 2023 which starts on Thursday 2nd of November.
