Update-Judge Vonda Evans Sentence Former Inkster Cop In Floyd Dent Police Brutality Case

William Melendez was sentenced Tuesday morning for his involvement in a police brutality case that happened last year. The former Inkster police officer was convicted of assaulting Floyd Dent during a traffic stop last year. He was given a sentence of no less than 13 months to no more than 10 years in prison.
