The African American Heritage Museum of Southern, New Jersey: An Interactive Atlantic City Archive
For decades Ralph E. Hunter, Sr. collected African American art and memorabilia until friends began affectionately referring to his home as “The Museum.” In 2002, his first actual museum opened in Buena Vista Township, NJ. The second location opened In 2013 in Atlantic City, NJ as the anchor for the Noyes Arts Garage, owned by Stockton University. Experience a few of his amazing treasures and see why he was asked to be a consultant for the critically acclaimed HBO series Boardwalk Empire.
