Leading into the 2020 NAACP Image Awards, BET hosted a1-day event “focused exclusively on driving African American voters to the polls by harnessing the power of media, entertainment, and technology sectors” called the META:2020 conference.It served as a collective of action-driven goals intentionally held during the weekend of the NAACP Image Awards, with more programming to come leading up to the November 2020 election.
