Southern fried chicken and cultural appropriation

Travon Jackson, executive director of the African American Cultural Center of the Capital Region in Albany, uses the example of fried chicken to explain the economic appropriation of a culture. Jackson participated in a virtual panel hosted by the Times Union and moderated by food journalist Deanna Fox.
