Should African-Americans get permanent dual citizenship in any African country? This vlog tackles that top in hopes of starting a necessary conversation.
I recognize the cultural differences because of the time that has passed but there are also similarities.
Have you thought about moving to Africa? Countries like Ghana are encouraging African diaspora to return home with successful campaigns like year of return.
Africa and African continent being a vast and diverse can and should accommodate those Africans who wish to move to Africa or make Africa their second home.
With Black Panther movie renewing interest in forging and bridging gaps between African-Americans, Africans in the diaspora and Africans, I think it is high time to explore this topic and see what we can do. Africa, a.k.a. Wakanda is a beautiful vast continent that can accommodate all of us.
Many countries in Africa are waving VISAs to African diaspora in an attempt to help them visit easily and that is a great step to take. There are things that can be done by those in the diaspora who are interested in exploring their roots. Africa, as the vlog states, is a vast continent with more than 50 countries therefore focusing and narrowing your search so as to not be overwhelmed might be a great step. I would suggest taking a DNA test and follow that or really just choose a country you really wish to live in. There is vast amount of information out there.
