Review – BLACK PANTHER: WAKANDA FOREVER (Spoiler Free)

Marvel and Director Ryan Coogler shoulder the impossible task of building a sequel out of (and around) the real-life loss of a singular once in a generation lead by taking a high risk pivot into a wide-scale sci-fi/fantasy geopolitical war movie that dramatically expands the boundaries of its own franchise and the omnipresent “Cinematic Universe” brand while also zeroing in on a somber narrative of personal loss and individual grief; coming up with a strange yet captivating mini-epic that embodies the best of what the genre and this team in particular are capable of.
