Historic sites in the United States have long fought for preservation funding and recognition. But now, many of them are facing a new challenge: climate change. Hotter weather is eating away at buildings. While severe flooding is washing others away. As CGTN’s Toni Waterman explains, there are massive racial disparities in choosing which sites are saved, and which ones are lost entirely.
