Nightclub Owner Pivots to Create First Black-Owned Grocery in Texas

Ellen welcomed Robert Thomas, who owned a successful nightclub in Houston for years, but had to shut down during the pandemic. However, he decided to turn the venue into what has become the first Black-owned grocery store in Texas, providing fresh food to the community. He shared his story and Ellen presented a gift from her friends at TisBest to help Robert continue is mission.
