NFL To Play Black National Anthem At Superbowl Again

The NFL has announced that the so-called “Black National Anthem” will be performed at the Super Bowl. Of course, in reality, the black national anthem is performed at every Super Bowl, because The Star-Spangled Banner is the anthem of ALL Americans.

According to extensive research by Gallup, race relations are at their lowest point in decades so the problem with playing the black national anthem is that it divides Americans and weakens race relations further. Playing the black national anthem gives preferential treatment to one group over all others at a time when we should be uniting as citizens.

Common arguments in support of promoting one race over others is the household income gap. According to Business Insider, white household wealth is 125 trillion dollars while black household wealth has stagnated at 8 trillion dollars.

If you’re not opposed to the black national anthem playing at America’s largest sporting event of the year, would you oppose a white national anthem playing at the event as well? If so, what’s the difference?
