New Creative Studio in Ajax Hosts 'Black Velvet Market' for Black Entrepreneurs

Creatives in the Durham Region in need of a studio space don’t have to worry about going too far from their neighbourhood now. Velvet Season Studios is a new photography, videography and event space studio opened up by Vanessa and Missy in Ajax.

To celebrate Black History Month, they hosted a marketplace for Black entrepreneurs to sell their products and services. Watch reporter Kadiatu Barrie interview some of the local vendors and check out the brand new studio!
