NCNG’s First Female African American Chief Warrant Officer Five!

As we celebrate Women’s History Month we celebrate another woman within our ranks who continues to break barriers, CW5 Paulette Haizlip. On March 29th, 2019 Paulette Haizlip became the First Female African American to be promoted to Chief Warrant Officer Five in the N.C. Guard.

CW5 Haizlip has been a dedicated N.C. Guardsman for over 39 years. Joined in 1983 as a Pvt/ E1 with the 113th FA Brigade and currently is the Senior Human Resource Officer.
