"Make Room" art exhibit in Kalamazoo celebrates black culture

Black Arts and Cultural Center Executive Director, Sydney Davis, talks about the “Make Room” exhibit at the Judy K. Jolliffe Theatre in the Epic Center in downtown Kalamazoo, Michigan on Wednesday, Oct. 14, 2020. The exhibit by the Black Arts and Cultural Center features 15 “rooms” created by 10 artists. The exhibit openings to the public on Saturday, Oct. 17. The exhibit will run Thursday-Saturday until Dec. 12. Tickets are $10 for adults and free to students K-12. On Thursday’s the exhibit will be donation only.
