The Israeli military carried out airstrikes on Hezbollah targets in Lebanon in retaliation to an attack by the Iran-backed group. Hezbollah had earlier launched dozens of rockets into Northern Israel in an attempt to hit an army headquarters of Israel. Israel says its fighter jets hit terrorist infrastructure in Lebanon where Hezbollah were operating from.
