KPRS is the oldest black-owned and operated radio station in the United States

KPRS is currently known as Hot 103 Jamz. At its inception, it was the first African-American owned radio station west of the Mississippi. It now has the distinction of being the oldest African-American owned and operated radio station in the entire United States.
