Kevin Samuels financial status when he died – Dr Boyce Watkins

Was Kevin Samuels broke when he died? The internet is saying it, but that doesn’t make it True.

Media Takeout and some other outlets appear to be rejoicing over the idea that Kevin Samuels may have died with as little as $1,000 in his bank account.

Quoting “a friend,” MTO and the rest of the internet have run with the idea tha the “High Value Man,” (Samuels) may have died with less than a month’s rent to his name.

I seriously doubt this to be true. With his Youtube earnings alone, Samuels likely earned over a million dollars per year. Also, leaning on the old financial concept of “Own nothing, control everything,” it is quite possible that Samuels had assets in numerous places other than his personal bank account.

At the same time, Kevin Samuels having a high income doesn’t mean that he had a positive net worth. Wearing the highest fashion and maintaining the image of “High Value Man” can be extremely expensive. Also, most of us have no idea where Samuels stood in terms of debts, child support, or any bad habits a man can have.

So, while it’s certainly premature to assume that Kevin Samuels was broke, it is also wrong to assume that he had money to burn.
