Joe Biden: Unlike the African-American community, the Latino community is incredibly diverse

Joe Biden earlier today in an NPR interview with Lulu Garcia-Navarro argued that “Unlike the African-American community… the Latino community is an incredibly diverse community.”

This joe biden comment on the Black community is very troubling and wrong, and it is connected to when Biden told Charlamagne tha God that ‘you ain’t black’ if you were voting Trump over Biden. African-Americans have complex and diverse experiences, histories, religions, and places where they lived. They are no less diverse than white or Latino Americans.

While Biden is better than Trump, and most black voters are going to vote for him, these remarks are sure to dampen enthusiasm for his campaign among diverse Black communities.
