Janet Jackson: Funky Big Band (A Tribute To Black Excellence in Pop Culture)

Janet Jackson’s “Funky Big Band” was written in tribute to the Lennox Lounge and the Harlem Renaissance of the 1920s and 1930s. The revival of Black music, dance, art, fashion, literature, theater and politics.

We pay tribute to some of our Black legends and icons in this video.
