In Solidarity in action: Supporting Birmingham’s Black-owned businesses

Launched in 2020, In Solidarity is a Mastercard-wide initiative that includes a $500 million commitment toward closing the racial wealth and opportunity gap. As a part of that commitment, Mastercard has been collaborating with local leaders and stakeholders in seven U.S. cities to tap into the company’s broad range of partnerships, technology, data insights and philanthropic funding to build programs that advance inclusive economic development in Black communities.
