Heart Health | American Black Journal Clip

February is American Heart Month, and even though the observance is wrapping up, we want to talk today about the importance of living a heart healthy lifestyle all year long. That’s especially true for African Americans who are at higher risk of experiencing heart disease and stroke, the two leading causes of death in the united states. However, the good news is you can lower your risk.

Stephen talks with Dr. Kimberly Farrow, president of Central City Integrated Health and Kimberly Heard, a stroke and heart disease survivor.
