The Honorable Carl O. Snowden is the former civil rights director for the Office of the Maryland Attorney General. Mr. Snowden is also a three-term member of the Annapolis City Council, an author, and an adjunct professor at Anne Arundel Community College. Mr. Snowden is the CEO of Carl Snowden and Associates a firm that specializes in assisting people with allegations of sexism, racism, and employment discrimination. His company was featured in the Wall Street Journal. Mr. Snowden is the current convener for the Caucus of African-American Leaders, which is a statewide consortium of African-American organizations and Black elected officials.

He received national attention after successfully suing the FBI for its illegal surveillance of him.
