‘Deeply offensive’: Kamala Harris slammed for ‘pandering’ to Black people

Commentator Brad Polumbo says US Vice President Kamala Harris is “cringe personified”.

The Vice President was featured in a skit with Taraji P Henson where Ms Harris Facetimed the American actress to express her concern about the upcoming election.

“She literally … put on a fake Black accent that she does not have,” Mr Polumbo said.

“How is that not deeply offensive? To pander to Black people and adopt a fake accent when you’re speaking to Black entertainment television.”
