This is the third documentary based on the book, Building Generational Black Wealth written by Keith B. Jones. The first documentary was released in 2005 and it discussed how some African Americans weren’t able to become educated investors and missed out on the tremendous upswing that the stock market offered. The second documentary, Building Generational black Wealth “Road to Wealth” was released in 2006 and it chronicled everyday African Americans pursuing their wealth building dreams through career and business moves.

This documentary, Resurrection focuses on the cause and effects of slavery as it relates to African American finances. It moves from slavery to present day to help viewers understand why they may not be wealthy. It is as the previous two documentaries meant to educate and provide solutions for Building Generational Black Wealth.

The documentary was written by Keith B. Jones the original author of Building Generational Black Wealth. Mr. Jones also provides the introduction to the documentary. Resurrection is Executive Produced and Narrated by Kyla L. Lenoir.
