Black-owned newspaper continues to serve Sacramento community

The newspaper industry has been in a steady decline, but The Sacramento Observer, a Black-owned newspaper that launched back in the 1960s, has managed to stay afloat and still serves communities of color. Now, it’s grown to include podcast series, videos and online newsletters.
