Black History Month: Celebrating Black Excellence
To celebrate Black History Month, CommonSpace, in collaboration with MORE (Migrants Organising for Rights and Empowerment), will be speaking to people whose work is contributing to black empowerment, about what Black History Month means to them.
First up is Ashanti Harris, Artist and Co-Director of Project X – a dance company celebrating diversity in dance. Ashanti has also researched black figures in Scotland’s history, and why it is important to remember them.
