Daymond John, the founder and CEO of FUBU and co-star of ABC’s four-time Emmy Award Winning Show, Shark Tank, created Black Entrepreneurs Day to celebrate Black Business in a fun new way.
A free global live stream, the event paired game changer conversations featuring black business icons such as Shaquille O’Neal, Gabrielle Union, Jamie Fox, LL Cool J, Dwayne Wade, along with special musical performances by Chance the Rapper & Quest Love.
Most excitingly, Daymond partnered with the NAACP to create the “NAACP Powershift Grant” which awarded $250,000 to 10 up-and-coming black entrepreneurs. The NAACP Grant program was made possible thanks to Daymond & the event’s incredible brand partners.
