Sherise is a Trinidadian-American visual artist, designer, and creator of Carib Ibis (pronounced like CARE-ibb EYE-biss)- a black-owned shop on Etsy which specializes in vibrant fine art, handmade jewelry, and made-to-order apparel inspired by the West Indies. What brought Sherise to Etsy was her need to share her passions for Afro-Caribbean culture & folklore, vivid colors, and black pride. Her work reflects the cheekiness of West Indian culture, the pride of the African Diaspora, and aims to project messages of positivity, unity, and justice.
