Black bear wanders into DC woman’s yard, hangs out in walnut tree. How would you respond?

You could say Verna Clayborne’s morning was off to an unusual start as she sipped her coffee and watched a young bear scratch its back on the black walnut tree in her backyard in Northeast D.C.

“He came over here to chase my cats,” Clayborne said “It’s been a heck of a morning with a bear in my backyard for over an hour.”
