As the number of people dying from COVID-19 continues to increase, so too does the evidence that African Americans account for a disproportionate number of those deaths. Now, a new study suggests that African Americans infected with the virus also are being hospitalized in relatively greater numbers than other groups.

For these reasons and more, the Rainbow PUSH Coalition and the Reverend Jesse L. Jackson have convened African-American healthcare experts and community leaders together for a Virtual Townhall meeting with Dr. Anthony Fauci the Nation’s leading infectious disease expert.
