Black-Owned Restaurant Tour underway as part of CIAA tournament

With the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association basketball tournament in full swing, special events for visitors and residents are underway. “For years, it was in Charlotte, North Carolina, so now that it’s in Baltimore, we’re coming out strong,” resident Lauren Holmes said. The Black-Owned Restaurant Tour made a stop at Magdalena Restaurant in Mount Vernon on Tuesday. BORT is just one of the events associated with the tourney.
