Video: Prominent African-American owned Catonsville shop 150 years ago



Frederick Road in Catonsville is where the former Catonsville Elementary School sits, but 150 years ago a blacksmith shop stood there, owned by a wealthy and influential businessman named Remus Adams. It was remarkable, considering Adams was a free black man in a slave state in the Civil War era.
