Chesapeake group works to document forgotten African-American cemeteries

“We do it because we don’t want people to be lost,” said Jean Spencer with Norfolk County Historical Society in Chesapeake. “A lot of black cemeteries are at churches, that was their land, or they’re small family cemeteries.”
