Governor Wes Moore Speaks at Black Wealth Summit

Over the next decade, the racial wealth gap is projected to cost the national economy over $1 trillion in GDP. And that’s not GDP of any one group – that’s GDP.

We must close the racial wealth gap if we’re going to create a stronger economy that benefits every community.

I was proud to join leaders at the Black Wealth Summit.

From raising the minimum wage to $15 an hour and awarding government contracts to our women and minority-owned businesses, our administration is building an economy where we leave no one behind.
