African American Patient With Amazing Hair Transplant Results

This patient is in his mid-30s. He had been on finasteride and minoxidil for several years before his surgery We performed FUT 2,678 grafts. He is shown 18 months post op.

With African hair, we can transplant at a lower density and still achieve the illusion of density. Also, the squared off, straight hairline works well black patients but would not be appropriate in most Caucasians.
