Chinese Ask For America’s Help

Chinese citizens are asking America to give them citizenship or to bomb their stock exchange. The Chinese stock market is tanking, hitting a 5 year low and having lost 10% of its value in just the past week. China’s GDP only grew 5.2% last year, the slowest growth in over 30 years. And it’s the first time in nearly 50 years that the US has grown faster than China. Anyways the people are not happy. The US Embassy to China made a post about protecting giraffes in Africa and Chinese users flooded their replies with these pleas that America spare some missiles to bomb the Shanghai stock exchange or to allow Chinese investors to become citizens. Some users called their page the “Wailing Wall” for Chinese economic concerns. Then when the censors shut that down, they moved to the Indian embassy with replies asking them to teach China how to innovate and develop a stock market. China’s state media is scrambling to psyop residents into believing the economy is good with articles, like the one the People’s Daily wrote last week titled “the entire country is filled with optimism” and the people mocked it, with one user saying “the entire giraffe community is filled with optimism” – referring to their antics on the US embassy’s post. China says people are trying to promote false narratives that hurt the Chinese economy but as one user said “people aren’t stupid”
