Local Chapter Of African Diaspora Development Institute Launched

Saint Lucia on Wednesday, August 31 observed International Day for the People of African Descent with the official launch of the Saint Lucia Chapter of the African Diaspora Development Institute(ADDI). The day’s observance also saw a panel discussion with main presenter Dr June Soomer, Caricom’s Representative on the United Nations Permanent Forum for People of African Descent expounding on the topic “Why the permanent forum is Important to the Caribbean”.
