South Africa’s US ambassador, Welile Nhlapo, hosted a lunch for Global South Africans on May 1, 2008. These are his remarks. GSA is a “brain bank” of successful South Africans living overseas who want to contribute their knowledge, skills and connections to help build the new South Africa.
