South Africa Politics: Smear campaigns ahead of ANC's elective congress

It’s political high season in south Africa, as the ruling party’s national elective congress draws closer. Some of South Africa’s political analysts say this period presents an open season for dirty tricks in the country. Smear campaigns have become the order of the day. The two leading contenders have already had potentially damaging allegations levelled against them. CGTN’s Yolisa Njamela has more.
