The One ft. Skeet “Generational Wealth”

This video is in remembrance of Black Wall Street and how our ancestors and forefathers who had a vision, were murdered in the streets, businesses, and homes in Tulsa, OK. Because they exceled due to having a vision to become wealthy with their own resources, the white law enforcement and residents murdered everyone, including women and children for being Wealthy and Intelligent! THE INJUSTICE Court system did not punish one person for all of those murders! Also inclusive is a message for the Black community and families to wake up and focus on more generational wealth for the Black race, Black communities, and Black families! This includes more ministry to the Black communities, and our children and train them up by introducing the true history of Black Wall Street, finances, Jesus Christ, and all of the struggles that our ancestors encountered. The Memphis Generational Wealth history is included as well, Royal Studios which was founded by the late, great, Willie “Poppa Willie” Mitchell himself. This studio is owned and operated by his son, the Grammy-Award Winning, Boo Mitchell who allowed several video scenes to be shot inside and outside Royal Studios! This is also where the legendary band, “Hi Rhythm”, recorded all the Al Green hits, Ann Peebles, Syl Johnson, Otis Clay, and O.V. Wright just to name a few. Three of these musicians are The One’s uncles, Leroy Hodges Jr, Mabon “Teenie” Hodges Sr, (deceased) and Rev. Charles Hodges Sr.! The photos of Hi Rhythm are displayed on the walls at Royal Studios, which are captured in the video. Footage of Poppa Willie is also included in the video. Generational Wealth footage reflects the founder of Crumyp’s Hot Wings, Donald Crump, an African American who has been a pillar in the black community since opening and owning his Crumpy’s Hot Wings restaurant in Memphis, TN, September of 1991. Donald owns, manages and operates 2 restaurants with his son in Memphis, TN. His daughter manages another restaurant in Senatobia, MS and his cousin manages and operates another Crumpy’s Hot Wings in Sommerville, TN. Crumpy’s Hot Wings has a chain of ten restaurants and still growing. D-Jay’s barbershop, founded by Dennis “DJ” Jones in the 90’s in Olive Branch, MS. DJ has groomed multiple African American barbers who now own their own BB shops from his leadership and coaching. The final trend of generational wealth in the black community will be a snapshot of Uncle Lou’s chicken restaurant in Memphis, TN. A Black-owned restaurant that continues to provide excellent food service for the black community. It is time to grow financially and stop the murdering, raping, and poisoning of our own sisters and brothers who mostly are living in poverty. Remove the Willie Lynch mentality and embrace and support one another to obtain our wealth that we are supposed to have and sustain. Stop the black-on-black Killing and implement Wealth Building!
