University of the Free State investigates an alleged incident of racism: Makgala Masiteng updates

Management of the University of the Free State says it is investigating an alleged incident of racism at its main campus in Bloemfontein.
It’s alleged that a white student referred to a black student as a baboon during a lecture on the 14th of this month.
The lecturer is alleged to have labelled the statement as a joke.
The university says it condemns all forms of racial actions and that it views the matter in a very serious light.
