The Black Business and Professional Network (BBPN) of New Brunswick organized a special event to celebrate International Development Week 2023, in collaboration with the Atlantic Council for International Cooperation (ACIC) and Global Affairs Canada. The event was held on February 10th and 17th, 2023, and was attended by a large number of professionals, activists, and community members who were passionate about promoting sustainable development and social justice through education of the youth.
BBPN is a non-profit organization that supports Black-owned businesses and professionals in New Brunswick, with the aim of promoting economic growth and entrepreneurship in the Black community.
The organization works closely with various stakeholders, including government agencies, community groups, and international organizations, to advocate for policies and programs that support Black businesses and professionals.
The International Development Week event organized by the BBPN brought together a diverse group of individuals and organizations, all united in their commitment to promoting sustainable development and social justice in Canada and around the world. The event featured a series of panel discussions, keynote speeches, and workshops on topics such as economic development, gender equality, climate change, and youth empowerment.
