The Supreme Court has struck down the use of affirmative action in college admissions.The Roberts Court, which would not look like the court it is today without affirmative action, decided in a pair of rulings that race-conscious admissions programs at Harvard University and the University of North Carolina violate equal protection under the Constitution.
