BYRON ALLEN ACQUIRES BLACK NEWS CHANNEL LLC FOR $11 MILLION

Byron Allen, a Successful Media Exec. amongst a host of other titles, has acquired the Black News Channel LLC for a cool $11 Million. Allen’s Media Group beat out other prospective Buyers including the owner of Ebony Magazine. AMG’s Portfolio currently Includes the Weather Channel, and more than a dozen FOX, CBS, NBC, and ABC affiliate news stations. The News Channel, formerly owned by Jacksonville Jaguars Owner Shad Khan, shut down this March due to Bankruptcy filings.
