Td Jakes African American Voting – Shop Who Has Got the Best Deal Democrats or Republicans

Td Jakes Interview on African American Voting. He meets with A.R. Bernard to discuss his new book Disruptive Conversations. He states that we can’t depend upon elected officials to change the problems that exist in our community. There is so much fighting for power that their is no one fighting for African Americans. TD Jakes states “We must get to the point where we care more about policies then we do politics”. Whoever has the best idea we should go with them.

He later states “African Americans should not pledge allegiance to a political party too fast (Democrats). One party thinks they can’t get us (Republicans). The other party thinks they can’t lose us (Democrats). And neither one works for us. If we would stand in the middle of the road- to shop the best deal. Things would change. Sometimes we are loyal to people who aren’t loyal to us (Democrats).” Kayne West better known as Ye said this and no one was listening. I feel the Democrats haven’t done much for the African American community. Especially our first black President Obama. Its time for the African American community to rethink how they vote!
