Minority government would be ‘very unstable’ for Australia

Australia needs “stable and certain leadership” – which a minority government could never deliver, says Prime Minister Scott Morrison.

“That would be a very uncertain and unstable outcome for Australia,” Mr Morrison told a media conference on Tuesday.

“We had three years of an unstable and uncertain Parliament with all sorts of deals being done on this day and that day.

“That’s not the stable and certain leadership that the country needs.”
