This week, “E&P Reports,” the official podcast of Editor & Publisher Magazine, features an interview with E&P editor-in-chief Nu Yang and McClatchy executive producer of audio Davin Coburn about the Charlotte Observer’s recent EPPY Award win for Best Podcast. In addition, Bob Andelman interviews legendary art director Roger Black. For more than 50 years, Black’s work was seen in such titles as Esquire, Reader’s Digest, Rolling Stone, Fast Company, Entrepreneur and Popular Mechanics. Black has also aided the redesigns of theLos Angeles Times, The Washington Post and a number of Hearst newspapers. In 2012, the Society of News Design presented him with a Lifetime Achievement Award.
