This Black real estate developer is building wealth one home at a time | REVOLT BLACK NEWS Weekly

Booker T. Washington, founder of Techie Homes, announced that his new tiny home community project will launch this fall. Starting his minority real estate development career in 2017, Booker has developed fix and flips, single-family new constructions and multi-unit developments within the Greater Atlanta area. As of 2022, the organization has developed more than $10 million in real estate assets. Booker values the impact leaders can make in a community, and he will continue to develop properties in the same neighborhoods he grew up in.

Inspired by Sean “Diddy” Combs’ successful “State Of Emergency: The State of Black America & Coronavirus” town hall, “REVOLT BLACK NEWS” is a platform that is designed to report news from the perspective of Black people for Black people.

“When I started REVOLT, I always wanted to develop a platform to report the news from our perspective, from our lens, from our people, so I decided to launch ’REVOLT BLACK NEWS.’” said Combs. “We’re here with solutions. We’ve already heard about what we can’t do, but this is what we can do.”
