African American expats chat about Uganda! 🇺🇬

We are two African Americans from Atlanta, Georgia who met for the first time and discuss our repatriation experience and life in Uganda. Chicaria is originally from Atlanta Georgia and recently left Hawaii to come to Uganda to adopt a child in 2021. However, shortly after her arrival, she met the love of her life and has become pregnant twice, after years of actively trying to conceive. She now lives in a 5 bedroom home in Entebbe, Uganda, where she resides with her children and husband and a few friends. It was wonderful meeting Chicaria and I’m honored that she would share her experiences with me.
