Explosions reported in Mogadishu ahead of regional security summit

There were reports of mortar attacks near the Somali presidential palace ahead of a meeting featuring heads of state from Kenya, Djibouti and Ethiopia. The meeting, hosted by Somali President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud was expected to prioritize regional security and the fight against al-Shabab.
